Elaine Lordan Leaves Soapstar Superstar 2007

Elaine Lordan - Soapstar SuperstarElaine Lordan last night became the first person to leave Soapstar Superstar following her rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s It’s A Heartache.

One of the judges, Michael Ball said: “She was terrified – she was clinging onto the microphone for dear life.

“And she didn’t look too disappointed to leave. Perhaps she’s been put out of her misery!”

As Elaine later told the show’s ITV2 spin-off programme, Soapstar Superstar: Bonus Tracks: “I can relax now and not wake up at four in the morning, wondering if I can remember the lyrics!”
