Alesha Dixon may quit her judging role on Strictly Come Dancing before next year’s series.

The former Mis-Teeq star said that she may decide to focus on her music career, instead of her TV one.

When asked if she would return next year, Dixon told The Mirror: “I’d like to, but there’s talk of me going to America to promote my album, so I’ll take each day as it comes.”

A show source said: “We’re very keen to keep Alesha, especially given the fuss it caused.

“But she is super ambitious and she won’t be committing to anything until next year, once she sees what else is on offer. Bosses will be on tenterhooks.”
