Alesha Dixon has admitted that she would love her own talk show and could see herself as the next Oprah Winfrey.

The new Strictly Come Dancing judge said that she loves Oprah and hopes to follow in her footsteps.

The 30-year-old singer told Cosmopolitan magazine: “My TV idol is Oprah. I love Oprah and want to be her. I’d love to do a show like hers. I’m making a documentary this year about absent fathers, which will be hard hitting.”

Dixon also talked about where she thinks she’ll be in 10 years’ time, saying: “I’ll be 40, so maybe I’ll be drowning my sorrows with a bottle of vodka! Only joking. I’d like to still be working but be more chilled out. I pray to God that I’ll be in a good place and that I’ll be optimistic about turning 50. And I like to think I’ll have a family.”
