Alice Beer has revealed that she is in talks to appear on this years Strictly Come Dancing series.

“My agent is in talks with the BBC at the moment – it would be a hoot,” she told the Daily Express.

Alice added that she thinks she is quite a good dancer, particularly after a few drinks.

“I was always big and slightly ungainly as a teenager. Now I like to think I can dance, but my ability is somewhat enhanced by wine. Who knows how it will go when I’m teetotal in the studio?” she said.

She joked: “I wouldn’t want to partner Brendan Cole. He wouldn’t fancy me and then he would be grumpy all series.

“I would rather someone like Anton du Beke. He is lovely and sweet to the older ladies.”
