The Sun is reporting that the BBC have made a massive U turn and welcomed sacked judge Arlene Phillips back on the show.

Though Arlene won’t be on the judging panel, the newspaper reports that she will be one of the key choreographers with a guest spot on the spin off show ‘It Takes Two.’

A show source said last night: “Arlene may not be a judge any more but we still want her on board as her expertise is unparalleled.

“We’ve offered her a role doing what she does best, which is choreography.

“As viewers know, the group dances are highly technical so it’s not an easy thing to do.”

Blah, blah blah. This all reeks of cowardliness to me. Arlene was a rubbish judge. She may have known the dance business but her comments and critiques were so clichéd and delivered in a thoroughly wooden manner. The BBC should have stuck to their guns instead of bowing to the chronic complainers. Make a decision, stick to it, the back tracking is kind of embarrassing.
