Craig Revel Horwood says he’ll dress up in drag for Strictly Come Dancing 2012!
The dance expert thinks he, Len Goodman and Bruno Toniolo could more than carry things between them and if viewers are desperate to see someone in a dress, then he’s happy to go on in drag.
Craig joked with The Sun’s TV Buzz saying:
“We can do it – the three boys. Well, the two girls and big boy [Len] in the middle. I might do it in drag, darling. Just have a little change of image this series.”
Craig also admitted that he’s a big fan of another reality TV series, BBC’s The Voice UK. he added:
“There’s some incredible talent on there – unlike Britain’s Got talent. Why bring a man dressed as a Roman solider on to the stage to do nothing? That’s scraping the bottom of the barrel.”
Craig also revealed his thoughts on new Britain’s Got Talent judge, David Walliams admitting that he loves the star. He said:
“He’d be great on Strictly as a judge, but he’s not a dancer. You have to have some qualification. You can’t just get anyone up there. Alesha won Strictly and was trained by the one world champion [Matthew Cutler] the show’s ever had, so she was more qualified than most to judge.”
At the minute, Revel-Horwood he is learning to conduct an orchestra for the new talent show, Maestro At The Opera.
Talking about the challenge he admitted:
“I had no idea what a conductor did. I knew they waved a stick and kept the orchestra together, but it’s mind-blowing what else it involves. We’ve had to learn how to read music and speak German and Italian because those are the languages the operas are in.”
Fellow Strictly judge, Bruno Tonioli, thinks he’s mad and Craig laughed:
“He said: “You’re mad, why do you accept these things?” I can’t speak any Italian and the only German I know translates as: “Get your legs up in the chandelier.” That’s all I learnt from my time in Berlin, darling.”
