Davina McCall would love to be on Strictly Come Dancing!
Davina McCall is a busy bunny, but despite having several shows on TV right now, or about to be on TV – including The Million Pound Drop, Got to Dance and Long Lost Families – she’s revealed to TV Biz that she’d love to compete on Strictly Come Dancing.
She said, “I love the idea of the dresses, the dancing, the romance,” however, as she has three young kids at home, she already finds it hard to juggle her career with her home life.
Of that, Davina said, “I am constantly trying to find a really good balance and I’ve got a really good balance at the moment…
“So I think [being on Strictly] might send me over the edge.
“It’s a real commitment and my ego would like to think I might be in for more than one week, so it would be weeks and weeks of non-stop rehearsal…
“But I would love to do it.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC1 in the autumn, and I for one would love to see Davina on there! Would you?
Mind you, I just can’t get enough of the woman; she’s been my girl crush for years, and even though I love Brian Dowling, I really missed Davina presenting Big Brother when it had its last two outings on Channel 5.
Maybe I’ll get over it by the time the new series starts in a few weeks…

No, please, not Davina McCall on Strictly CD. Keep her for the Big Brother type of trash – she’s good at that.
What we need are some people for whom Strictly would prove a real challenge; people who will be right out of their comfort zone for whatever reason and who we can watch blossom and succeed or crumble and fail. Putting yet another skinny bimbo who can dance anyway would be totally disengaging and predictable. You sort of knew that Tara would win from the moment she set foot on the floor – there was no reason why she wouldn’t.
Come on, now, use some imagination and think up some celebrities who will entertain and surprise.
