Former Eastenders actress Natalie Cassidy has been voted off BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Natalie and her partner Vincent Simone were up against Ricky Whittle and his partner Natalie Lowe in the bottom two. Obviously being arrested for assault does affect your standing with the British public. Of course the judges did not mention Ricky’s arrest but it just goes to show that what happens outside these shows is often as important as what happens in them.

Cassidy was given a standing ovation from the audience as she and Simone were voted off.
