Strictly Come Dancing bosses have planned a new style show which will run for more than two hours. The new format begins on the 3rd of October.

This week, separate shows will air on Friday and Saturday night but the following week all the dancers will perform on one show, and the result will be announced at the end.

Given that there are no a breaks on BBC shows, two hours may be just a little two long for me. Strictly doesn’t have the same hook that X Factor does and to make it as long as a movie seems a bit of a stretch.
