Imagine….a Royal on Strictly Come Dancing…..Well according to show insiders, Princess Beatrice was approached to appear on this years BBC show, and almost accepted.

The Princess was said to be very tempted to take the BBC up on their offer, but in the end turned it down as she wanted to travel during this years gap year, before she enters Uni next year. However, Princess Beatrice is said to have told the BBC that she definitely consider taking part in next years series.

“Beatrice is a huge fan of Strictly and was offered the opportunity to go on the show this year,” a friend told The Daily Mail.

“She was desperate to do it but decided to go ahead with her gap year as she plans to start university next year and wanted some time out before studying again.

“She is now in Argentina with two girlfriends - had she done the show, it would have clashed with her travelling plans.”
