STRICTLY COME DANCING 16th November, 06
We are in for a spectacular variety of dances this Saturday.
Peter Schmelchel and Erin Boag, who have put in 201 hours of training to date, will be dancing the Fox Trot.
The Cha Cha Cha will be danced by Carol Smillie and Matthew Cuttler (163 hours), as will Emma Bunton, who has 12 hours to spare for training this week and Darren Bennett (146 Hours). Louisa Lytton and Vincent Simone had 7 hours training for the jive, due to Vince’s injury, and did exceptionally well, so we have every confidence in Emma to master the Cha Cha Cha in time for Saturday.
Louisa and Vincent (117 hours of training to date) will be dancing the Tango, as will Brendan and Claire (145 hours).
The Rumba will be danced by Matt Dawson and Lilia Kopylova ((184). Mark Ramprakash and Karen Hardy (201) will also be dancing the Tango.
The judges have been under fire for some time now but Len Goodman explained that on many occasions a dance looks good but has no variety, with many repeated steps. Some of the things the judges are looking for are variety and well finished off moves with good foot work, arms, hands, facial expressions and body posture.
There are also set rules connected to each dance which the laymen might not be aware of.
Strictly Come Dancing on BBC2, Saturday the 18th November is not to be missed as I believe we are in for a real treat

To whom it may concern, Could we in future shows of Strictly Come Dancing have a change to the rules.
This being that the lowest placed Dancing Couple as listed by the judges be automaticaly entered in the dance off.
The dance off could be for three couples.
Also that the public share of votes be issued so we can all see how the voting had influenced the results.
Yours ,
Eldred Taylor (age 79) looking for a fair result.
