Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood has claimed that Brendan Cole has no chance of romance with his new dance partner, Lisa Snowdon as he just can’t compare with her ex, George Clooney.

Craig told Star magazine: “I think it’s hilarious they gave him Lisa. Brendan thinks he is Mr Schmoozer on the show. I think Lisa has a bit of sense and will curb any advances he might make.

“I don’t think Brendan has anything of what George Clooney possesses in the way of ‘schmooze talent’. Brendan isn’t even in his league!”

Horwood revealed that he would love to see celebrity chef Gary Rhodes win this year.

Craig said: “I was on MasterChef last year, but my nerves got the better of me. I’m hoping he will give me some tips. I’ll help him with his dancing if he shares his culinary skills!”

But his dream contestant would be Sharon Osbourne.

He said: “She’d be excellent. She’d be feisty, and stand up for herself – that’s what the public enjoy.

“She’d be funny as a judge, but I don’t think she knows anything about dancing, so she could only give the opinion the general public would have. You have to be quite dance-savvy to judge on Strictly.”
