Strictly Come Dancing 2010: Artem Chigvintsev’s mum approves of Kara Tointon!

Tonight is the grand finale of Strictly Come Dancing and Kara Tointon is competing against Matt Baker and Pamela Stephenson to be crowned as this year’s champion. She and professional partner Artem Chigvintsev have done little to dispel rumours their relationship is as hot off the dancefloor and it is on and no one would be happier if that is the case than Artem’s proud mum Anna.

She told The News Of The World:

“She (Kara) looks really great. They make a beautiful couple which fills my heart with pride and joy.”

And Kara will get to meet her prospective future mother in law soon, as soon as she gets her visa sorted. Anna added:

“I will get it soon then come to England and see Anton and Kara personally.

“I want to see her and talk to her, then I will have a clearer understanding of her personality.

“As I understand from my phone conversations with Artem, she is a very cheerful and kind girl.

“She certainly has a heart-warming face. I am very much looking forward to my meeting with Kara soon.

“And I’ll be there watching them on TV and wishing them victory.”

Kara admitted that she’ll be glad when the show is over, so that she and her hunky Russian can start acting like a normal couple. She said:

“We get on brilliantly and it will be nice to have normal things like go to the cinema or for a meal because we spend all our time in the studio.”
