Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens later this month and bosses have revealed that there will be no weekly dance off on the results show.
The new Sunday night show will be fronted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman and no longer will judges be allowed to choose between the two couples who receive the lowest amount of public votes.
A source told The Mirror:
“We want people at home to feel they are really in control of the show and this seems a way to make sure they have the last say, and not the judges, who used to save someone in the dance-off. They can’t save anyone now.”
