Strictly Come Dancing 2010: Jimi Mistry nails the cha cha cha!
Jimi Mistry and his professional partner Flavia Cacace made their dancing debut on Strictly Come Dancing tonight.
Jimi admitted that he is delighted to be dancing with dance expert Flavia, he said:
“Flavia is amazing and I’ve landed right on my feet!”
After revealing how much he was struggling with and sweating through rehearsals, Jimi took to the floor to performed his cha cha cha.
He has fluid hips, snazzy moves and is a natural on the dance floor. We think the latin style suits him more than ballroom will but already we think both Jimi and Matt (who stormed the show last night) are sure to make the semis at least.
JUDGES COMMENTS:
Len: There was nothing adequate about that. I was concerned last night that nothing could come up to that level. High energy, great rhythm, your knees need to straightened a bit more but a great start to tonight! (7)
Bruno: Jimi you can sell it but you went wrong in the midsection. I could see it in your face and you didn’t quite recover. (7)
Craig: For me it was a little like watching the scarecrow from the Wizard Of Oz. You do need more control and you also need to point your feet. But I agree with the others, great energy, fantastic. (6)
Alesha: You came out and performed it, bundles of energy and loads of enthusiasm. For a first dance it was fantastic. (6)
