BBC have just confirmed that Aliona Vilani will not be performing on Strictly Come Dancing next weekend.

Aliona sustained an ankle injury during training with veteran TV presenter Johnny Ball today and was rushed to hospital for medical treatment.

Doctors later confirmed that the beauty was suffering from a hairline fracture and would need to recuperate for a few weeks until it heals.

Aliona will be unable to dance until the second weekend of the series and it’s not yet clear whether or not Johnny will be able to perform without her….they may give him a new partner and some extra training sessions.
