James Jordan has been ribbing and teasing Denise Van Outen ever since it was announced that he would be partnering the blonde bombshell on Strictly COme Dancing this year.

Last week he claimed that he wanted to change for another celebrity and in the week that followed he berated her publicly for her poor posture, called her Quasimodo and even put her on the naughty step when she was five minutes late for rehearsal.

Over the weekend the handsome dancer warmed slightly towards the West End star, tweeting:

‘Finally a different @denise_vanouten turned up to training today. Can get through the dance at last! Still would like a partner swap though!’

We think he’s secretly loving working with Denise though and may even admire her talent. He gave a little of his true feelings away when he messaged her saying:

‘I’ve heard you sing babe….and to be honest, you would have had more chance on the Voice!’

Van Outen is certainly putting the work in and while some other celebs took the weekend off, on Saturday she was back in rehearsals, despite her very sore feet. The mum of one admitted:

‘I’ve got a blister on the ball of my left foot that could house a small family. Ouch!!!!’

She’s heading back into the studio for some practice sessions today, even though she revealed:

‘I’ve got a stinking cold. GRRRRRRR!!’

Being sick hasn’t affected Den’s sense of humour though and after James tweeted about going to the gym before meeting her, she replied:

‘@The_JamesJordan maybe squeeze in a trip to the dentist too so he can work on your mouth. #wireitshut’

The pair will take to the dance floor for the first time next week, when Strictly Come Dancing returns on 5th of October. We can’t wait to see their routine…..we’re expecting great things!
