Lisa Riley has had an eventful week that’s for sure.

The Strictly Come Dancing contestant spent a full day rehearsing with Artem Chigvintsev, because her professional partner Robin Windsor was ill with food poisoning and then, just when he returned to health, she developed an eye infection.

The former Emmerdale actress will be dancing a Samba to the song ‘Carwash’ this evening on the BBC show but speaking on It Takes Two last night she told Anton Du Beke:

“Carwash, I need an eyewash! I have an eye infection.”

On how it was impacting her rehearsals, she added:

“I feel like I’m crying all the time but hopefully I’ll be ok.”

Lisa and Robin were backstage at Wembley, taking some time out from their final run throughs and gauging the feel of the large stage before the 6,000 audience fill the venue.

Windsor teased the routine, admitting that as well as a huge glittery car wash, they will have a few other things on the dancefloor with them, laughing:

“We’ve got a couple of props that kind of move.”

He added:

“We are doing the samba, which is very exciting. She’s taken to it like a duck to water.”

However, as much fun as they were having it seems poor Robin had a lot to put up with yesterday as Riley was feeling a little windy if you get our drift.

She tweeted:

“Had a lovely veggie lasagne for lunch problem was it was full of onion!!!! Lets just its a windy place at WEMBLEY!!!! Sorry @Robinwindsor xx”

How very ladylike! Lisa also admitted that she is chomping at the bit to get on stage though, constant farts or not and added:

“Me and @Robinwindsor in the car on the way to WEMBLEY robins having a nap and I can’t stop smiling I am beside myself with excitement!!!!”

Windsor is just as psyched and replied”

“@Reallisariley shimmy shimmy shimmy woop woop woop!!! OMG OMG OMG It’s WEMBLEY!!!!! 💈🚗💈 + 👸+ 💪💪💪= AMAZE!!!!!”
