Strictly Come Dancing 2012 Results: Louis Smith regains lead over Denise Van Outen – Michael Vaughan or Nicky Byrne going home?
UPDATE: NICKY BYRNE AND MICHAEL VAUGHAN BOTH PERFORMED IN THE DANCE OFF. FIND OUT WHO WAS VOTED OFF HERE….
Denise Van Outen was top of the pile for just a week on Strictly Come Dancing and enjoyed almost a full seven days of being bookies favourite to win.
However she had a bit of a slip up in her routine last night and was beat to the top spot on the leaderboard by Olympic gymnast Louis Smith and as a result, William Hill are backing the hunk to take the glitterball trophy later this month.
Louis and his professional partner Flavia Cacace are even money favourites to lift the Strictly crown on the night of the grand finale, while Denise nad James Jordan have slipped into second place, with odds of 11/8.
Dani Harmer has moved in front of Kimberley Walsh with odds of 9/1 compared the Girls Aloud star’s 12/1.
“The odds suggest that it is a two horse race and as it stand, Louis has his nose in front but he could easily get collared before the finish line,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
Hills also predict that it will be Michael Vaughan or Nicky Byrne for the chop tonight after the cricket champion and Westlife star found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard yesterday.
Despite the fact that she won mostly positive comments from the panel last night, Denise was still worried about her fate and just minutes after finishing her dance she tweeted fans saying:
“Please please keep us in strictly and pick up your phone and vote. I’d love ya forever! X”
She added this morning:
“Thanks for all your supportive messages about our Salsa dance last night. Not our greatest dance, but I really enjoyed it. Loving Strictly”
James apologised for his mistake that saw Denise losing marks from the judges, writing:
“Oh dear!!!! Please support @denise_vanouten or I would never forgive myself…. Sorry..!!”
