Strictly Come Dancing 2013: Abbey Clancy feels like a ‘baby elephant’ in training with Aljaž Skorjanec!
Abbey Clancy might have looked totally stunning and the picture of grace and beauty when she appeared on the recent Strictly Come Dancing launch show, but it sounds as though training with Aljaž Skorjanec hasn’t been going as well as she might have hoped.
The WAG is certainly enjoying her daily rehearsals with the hunky professional and who wouldn’t eh? But it sounds like progress isn’t as fast as she might have hoped, with the model admitting that at times she feels like a ‘baby elephant’ as she tries to master her first routine.
In a new video taken during a practice session for the BBC show last week the blonde beauty revealed that she is loving her training with Aljaž, explaining:
“He iss really patient with me. [He's] a great teacher and in my opinion, one of the best dancers.”
“Plus he’s the hot one!”
However Abbey is still terrified about performing on the first live show this weekend and despite training with her partner for hours each day, she is still having problems sleeping.
She’s nervous about making her live TV dance debut and explained:
“I am so nervous that I haven’t slept wink. It is nerve wrecking spending so much time with someone you don’t know and then doing something so out of your comfort zone.
“I feel like a baby elephant tumbling around. I feel like a fumbling wreck.”
Aljaz doesn’t seem as worried as his beautiful partner and insists that she will be alright on the night. He’s full of faith in the star and insisted:
“I think she’s going to do really well.”
He tweeted a very worried Abbey last week saying:
“@OfficialClancy Don’t worry about it! Good thing you’ve got a good teacher! hehe 😉 #firstdayatshool”
Clancy told her followers:
“Great day in rehearsals with my fabulous partner @AljazSkorjanec had sooo much fun and learned a new dance #eeek 👯💃👍🙈”
