Last weekend, Dragon’s Den star Deborah Meaden and her professional partner Robin Windsor danced the Quickstep. They received 7’s across the board with a total score of 28. Not only that, their dance made Craig crack a smile.
This week, the pair will be dancing the Jive and Deborah will have a big reveal! Well… that’s if her dance resembles nothing of a Morris dance (in Deborah’s words, not mine!)
“I loved it. I went out there and thought ‘I’ll just enjoy myself’.” Deborah said about last week’s dance.
Robin added about having to wait right until the very end to dance last week: “I mean it’s horrible as you have to watch everyone go first and seeing who’s good and who’s not so good and you start to zone out about half way through as it’s a good nearly two hour show. You have to sit there and wait and then your adrenaline starts to run down, but as soon as we stepped onto that dance floor, our adrenaline kicked in and we whizzed around that dance floor”.
This week, Robin and Deborah have the Jive, and Deborah is a tad confused as to why the pair have had four rather fast paced dances in a row.
Deborah added that she’s feeling “really good” as dancing four fast dances in a row is keeping her in tip top shape!
The Dragon has also been a tad worried that her Jive looks a little like a Morris dance… “Without the bells in fairness, I wasn’t wearing the bells. But, other than that, it did look like a Morris dance, but he was too polite to tell me”.
Strictly Come Dancing continues this evening at 6pm on BBC One/HD.
