As we see every year, Abbey Clancy and her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec performance the show dance this evening to Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N Roses.

In training, Abbey said that the pressure is on this week as there’s potentially three dances to perform and the showdance has to be a showpiece. “It’s one of the most demanding dances in terms of choreography for Abbey,” Aljaz said. Abbey has even warned that there’s a sense of danger as there’s four lifts which “could go terribly wrong” on the night.

Last week, Abbey’s American Smooth captivated the judges as they gave her a massive score of 39. Len said that he knew he’d seen her in the final and Craig added that the dance was “full of charisma” before adding that Abbey is “so watchable”.

Judges Comments

  • Craig Revel Horwood: “I don’t think I can be as animated as Bruno, but it held a lot of drama and you created some magnificent shapes throughout”.
  • Darcey Bussell: “It was certainly packed full of drama, intent, it was wonderfully wild in places, but the power you gave to it was perfect. Just what it needed”.
  • Len Goodman: “It was a full on performance and I loved the mix of ballroom and latin. Sometimes, some of it was surplus to requirements… but as a performance, it was fantastic. Sometimes for me, less is more is all”.
  • Bruno Tonioli: “This girl is on fire!! I love Rock N Roll and you rocked my world! Let’s take a walk on the wild side…”

Scores

Both Abbey & Aljaz received a combined score of  38 with a 9 from Craig, a 10 from Darcey, a 9 from Len and a 10 from Bruno.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this evening at 8:40pm with the all important result. Who will win this series?
