Strictly Come Dancing Abbey Clancy

As part of this evening’s grand finale of Strictly Come Dancing 2013, the judges have chosen that Abbey Clancy and her professional partner, Aljaz Skorjanec should dance the Waltz to Kissing You by Des’ree.

Abbey said in her VT that her aim last week was to just have fun, and to be joint top of the leaderboard, she feels lucky to have had the experience. In the judges’ room, Abbey reveals she’s ecstatic to be dancing the Waltz again all the way back from week 1. “Literally, you came from the dance gutter,” Craig told her.

The bookies have been going crazy this week and the odds have been going up and down for all the celebrities, but at one point this week it was reported that 72% of all Strictly bets had been on Abbey Clancy. Could she walk away with the crown this evening?

Judges Comments

  • Craig Revel Horwood: “I said in week one that I had a hunch about you two and I was absolutely right. That was amazing!”
  • Darcey Bussell: “Abbey, the difference is magical. The lines and the arch you create in your top line – it’s true. I’ve never seen a celebrity achieve that in this show. I would never have believed you’d have gotten this far – a beautiful Waltz”.
  • Len Goodman: “That dance should be designed an area of natural beautify. I’ve been on this show since kickoff and no girl has ever had a top line like you”.
  • Bruno Tonioli: “Simply stupendous. I think I’m experiencing everlasting love. That apart, whatever happens, you’ve transformed yourself into the most beautiful dancer and you’re a winner regardless”.

Scores

Both Abbey & Aljaz received a combined score of 40 with a 10 from Craig, a 10 from Darcey, a 10 from Len and a 10 from Bruno.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this evening at 8:40pm with the all important result. Who will win this series?
