It has been revealed that Strictly Come Dancing star Flavia Cacace used to work in a bank before getting her big break.
Of course, last year Flavia won Strictly Come Dancing with Olympic Gymnast, Louis Smith. Unfortunately, Flavia quit Strictly last year along with her professional dance partner, Vincent. Let’s hope she isn’t going back to Natwest!
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, the 34-year-old star said: “When we turned youth amateur after A-Levels, I worked as a cashier for Barclays and Natwest.
“It’s weird because I’m not very mathematical. I’m not very good with numbers.
“But I do like being organised and there was an element of putting things in the right place that I really enjoyed.
“It was always part-time. I never had any full-time jobs. I’d finish at three and then we would go and practise afterwards.”
Flavia got engaged to Jimi Mistry after she fell in love with him back in 2010, but she insisted that there won’t be any wedding soon.
“I’ve got the ring and we’ve started looking into it. I didn’t realise it was quite so much to look into, though,” she explained “When you start looking what’s involved in organising it, it’s quite scary. There are lots of question marks, so we’re not sure but it’s exciting”.
Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing returned with a bang last night for its first live show of the series. Former Corrie star Natalie Gumede stole the show after receiving a whopping 31 score for her Cha Cha. It was described as “beautiful” whilst Craig Revel Horwood said she was the front-runner.
Tony Jacklin on the other hand didn’t do too well after his Waltz was described as a complete disaster.
Strictly Come Dancing continues this evening at 7pm on BBC One/HD in which the remaining nine contestants will perform.
