Strictly Come Dancing star Kimberley Walsh has urged her boyfriend Justin Scott NOT to propose to her on Valentine’s Day, but that’s only because she’d then have a twofer celebration on all future Valentine’s Days, and she’s not down with that apparently.

She told the Mirror, “Valentine’s Day is a bit of a cliché.

“Every Valentine’s Day would be the day you got engaged, and then you would have to celebrate them both together.

“I want to spread it out. Then you get more celebrations throughout the year.”

But of course, her Girls Aloud BFF Cheryl Cole proposed to her recently – which may be some consolation if Justin doesn’t – by way of marking cheryl cole, kimberley walshthe passing of a same-sex marriage bill recently.

Of that, Kimberley said, “She’s so naughty. The fans were going crazy.

“It was just a joke but as soon as she did it, I was like ‘Oh, God, what has she started’?”

The paper adds, “Joking fans, who call the pair Chim, bombarded them with calls to tie the knot.”

Kimberley added, “The fans have got a bit of an obsession with the two of us and this whole Chim thing.

“The next morning Cheryl was like ‘Oops! Maybe people didn’t get my sense of humour’. It was funny.”

But back to the concept of marrying Justin, Kimberley said, “I will get around to doing that at some point, though we have no plans at the minute.

“There’s no time for me to get married.”

Well, I have to say, if marrying someone is something you need to “get around to” a bit like you may need to “get around to” clearing out the shed, then mayhap it’s not what you really want…

Anyway, here’s a reminder of Kimberley performing live at the NTAs earlier this year…
