This evening, Abbey Clancey and her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec danced the Tango to Florence and the Machine’s Spectrum.
Abbey is feeling good after last week’s show, but she has had two dances in a row that she didn’t like. She says she definitely has to “go for it more”. To help with the dance this week, Pasha took Abbey to the assault course to help with her attack.
Last week, Abbey & Aljaz scored a total of 28. Craig told her that her timing was out after she was sat on Penny Lane for a long time. Len added that there was “a lot of please” but her timing needs a little bit of work for this week’s dance.
Abbey sported some quite dramatic eye make-up this week, but the flowing red dress she wore was stunning and she needn’t worry about the attack this week as the Tango was fierce and she most certainly went for it.
- Len Goodman: “You are a formidable couple. That was snap, crackle and pop. Very dynamic. It was a terrific Tango”.
- Bruno Tonioli: “You had it all and it was snappier than a crack of the whip. It takes two to Tango and the chemistry between you two is wonderful to see”.
- Craig Revel Horwood: “You used all the accents in the music and great use of the floor. It had intent, purpose and I thought it was a-maz-ing!”
- Darcey Bussell: “I was not expecting that from you. You played a very sexy and cool Tango. Very nicely done”.
Both Abbey & Aljaz received a combined score of 35 with a 9 from Craig Revel Horwood, a 8 from Darcey Bussell, a 9 from Len Goodman and a 9 from Bruno Tonioli.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow evening at 7:15pm on BBC One.
