This evening, Patrick Robinson and his professional partner Anya Garnis took to the dance floor for the second time this series.
The pair danced the Tango to Michael Jackson’s Beat It. Last week, Patrick received a modest score of 28 from the judges, with Darcey telling him he needs to work on his “flappy feet”, but his “energy levels were brilliant”.
This week, Patrick said in his VT: “I felt out performance went very well, it was one of the best dances we did. I was very pleased.
“This week we are doing the Tango to Beat it. Being a fan of Michael Jackson goes back to being a kid in the 70s”.
Bruno Tonioli said: “You went for it and it’s important in the tango. You lost a bit of your frame. You’re going the right way. I’m sure you’ll be here a long time”.
Darcey Bussell added: “It’s masculine and when you change direction, you use your right shoulder. Use your whole back when you change. You’re one to watch.
Len Goodman continued: “Your hod could have been tighter, but saying that you came out and danced with a lot of energy. This week you have done a great Jive.
Craig Revel Horwood grunted: “Your bottom does stick out a little bit, you need to tuck it under slightly. It’s all about the bottom. You had fantastic attack and your timing is impeccable”.
Both Patrick & Anya received a combined score of 27 from the judges. It as a 6 from Craig Revel Horwood, a 7 from Darcey Bussell, a 7 from Len Goodman and finally, a 7 from Bruno Tonioli.
