This evening, Rachel Riley and her professional partner Pasha Kovalev took to the dance floor for the second time this series.
The pair danced the Salsa to Daft Punk’s Get Lucky. Last week, Rachel received a very good first score of 27, after he waltz was described as “graceful” and “beautiful”. However, Len told her that it was a “very careful” dance and she won’t win the show being careful.
This week, Rachel said in her VT: “This week, Pasha and I are dancing the Salsa. I can’t do sexy, I’m not doing sexy. Going to the Salsa night has boosted my confidence”.
Bruno Tonioli said: “It was like watching a gorgeous rag doll. The attitude is right but I believe you have it in there. The thing you have to work on is your balance”.
Darcey Bussell added: “There’s lots of sugar but not a lot of spice. You need to flirt with Pasha, he’S easy to flirt with. It was a bit wishy-washy”.”.
Len Goodman continued: “I thought you were working your assets quite a bit out there. It was careful again, you have to come out and waw us a little bit more”.
Craig Revel Horwood grunted: “Very untamed, the lift was messy, at times it was very awkward”.
Both Rachel & Pasha received a combined score of 20 from the judges. It as a 4 from Craig Revel Horwood, a 5 from Darcey Bussell, a 6 from Len Goodman and finally, a 5 from Bruno Tonioli.
Following her second dance, Patrick said: “It was an up and down week so to go out and have fun was the main thing”.
