Strictly Come Dancing 2013: Patrick Robinson is looking forward to the Waltz and doesn’t want to ‘project negativity’ about his worst fear
Casualty star Patrick Robinson has said that he thinks all the celebrity dancers this year are “good to watch” depending on what sort of dancing you like.
He also went on to say that he’s “looking forward” to all of the training that goes on behind the scenes at Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking to press and media at the Strictly Come Dancing 2013 launch show on Wednesday (September 4) evening, Patrick made it clear that he doesn’t just like dancing, he loves it!
“I keep saying that I don’t like dancing, I love it,” he said “It isn’t about performing and being the best, it’s about enjoying it. It is what it is, all the training I am looking forward to, that is the bit I love to do”.
When asked what type of dances he is looking forward to, he said: “The Waltz as it’s really tricky so I’d like to conquer that”.
Meanwhile, he went on to say that he doesn’t want to think about the worst thing that could happen to him on the show as “when you put out negativity, you’re projecting that is what’s going to happen”. Let’s hope he doesn’t think about falling up the stairs as if that’s the case, it’ll happen! Although, we’re glad to say it didn’t happen on launch night.
Strictly Come Dancing 2013 kicks off this Saturday (September 7) at 6:50pm on BBC One/HD.
