She didn't just go to stage school, she went to The Arts Educational Trust, Piccadilly, London where, as the name suggests, you trained in all the arts. The main emphasis was ballet, tap and modern, with some ballroom. You could not go to this school without the main emphasis being on dancing. It was not a stage school where you did a little bit of everything, including dance, this was full time dancing, with school work fitted in between vocational classes. Cherie was a very good dancer and having years of training drummed into you, you just don't forget it.
