TV presenter Esther Rantzen has called for the BBC to save a failing Strictly Come Dancing, by bringing back judge Arlene Phillips.

Arlene was sacked and replaced by Alesha Dixon earlier this year. Esther wrote in The Daily Mail:

Of course, bring back Arlene. Alesha, gorgeous as she is, can’t compete with the authority of a worldclass choreographer. Let’s just say this was an experiment that failed.
