Kara Tointon has admitted that she will be glad when tonight’s final of Strictly Come Dancing is over, so she and her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev can concentrate on the romance of their relationship.

The pair met and started dating at the beginning of the series but because of their hectic training schedule, have missed out on much of the highlights of a brand new relationship.

They may look madly in love each Saturday night, but speaking about their sexy routines in FHM, the former Eastenders actress admitted:

“It’s like the most unromantic thing I’ve ever done. I’m only thinking of the steps.

“If it looks romantic then that’s great – but it’s not. I wish it was. I wish I could be more exciting with Artem!”

“I’ve entered an entertainment show and met someone fantastic. It could have ended badly but it’s actually changed my life.

“I’m looking forward to breaking out of the studio’s four walls and doing something nice together. It’s been more of a student and teacher.

Loved-up Russian hunk Artem, 28, added:

“It will be a new chapter – so let’s see what is going to happen.”

The pair will have their last chance to impress the judging panel and public on tonight’s final show, when they have to perform a whopping four routines. On their chances of taking the glitter-ball trophy home Kara said:

“I don’t care if I win or not. I love Strictly. It has always been my favourite. It was the one that I wanted to do out of all the reality shows.

“So to get to the final is so surprising for me.

“We’re at the finish line and not to have sat watching at home is a massive thing for me.

“We’ve got to the end of the journey. I did it because I wanted to stop taking myself so seriously and have a good time.

“I’ve certainly had a good time and I’ve realised not to be scared to push yourself and do something out of your comfort zone.

“Those experiences change you for the better.

“Now I just can’t wait for people to see my final dance. It’s going to be crazy!”
