Strictly Come Dancing: Harry Judd and Chelsee Healy dance underwater for Sport Relief (PICTURES)
Some big Strictly Come Dancing names are putting their dancing shoes back on in aid of Sport Relief…well perhaps not their dance shoes, maybe a pair of flippers would be more fitting.
Former show winner Harry Judd and runner up Chelsee Healey have joined forces with their professional partners – Aliona Vilani and Pasha Kovalev – once more, for a new performance in aid of Sport Relief.
However, while they are used to strutting their stuff on the dancefloor, the two couples instead performed their latest routine while submerged in a pool of water!
The dancers donned scuba gear and goggles for the stunt, though the usual sparkles and sequins were still in place and the video will be shown on the Sport Relief show on Friday night.
The couples choreographed their moves to water themed songs, Take That’s The Flood and Bobby Darin’s Beyond the Sea.
Healy said admitted that the whole thing was quite a challenge for her, as she doesn’t cope particularly well underwater. She said:
“I wouldn’t say I’m a strong swimmer and I’m not that keen on water either. I like to bath in it but that’s about as far as it goes.”
Judd added: “I didn’t think it would work – but it does.”
Harry is currently in the middle of touring with his boyband McFly. In 2011 the group announced that they would be doing a tour consisting of 26 dates around the UK in March/April 2012.
