BBC bosses have confirmed that they have sold the Strictly Come Dancing format to a further two countries, making it the most popular reality TV format in the world.

The show already airs as ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in America, Australia, China, Japan and India and will now be produced in both Indonesia and Vietnam.

Joyce Yeung, an executive at BBC Worldwide, said: “The show has a wonderful mix of glamour, competition and celebrity which makes it must-watch TV wherever it airs.”
