Strictly Come Dancing stars, Len Goodman, Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly have been made into comic characters in The Beano.

The story will follow regular character Minnie The Minx and see her irritate the stars with her repeated attempts to get on the show.

Scriptwriter Iain McLaughlin told the Press Association: "I’m a huge fan of Strictly and Minnie seemed the perfect choice to put into the world of sequins and glitz – she’s the ultimate drama queen.

"When Minnie sets her mind to something there’s no stopping her and she’s not afraid of any authority figures, so the judges on Strictly won’t hold any fear for her – not even Craig."
