Peter, described as a big cuddly teddy bear, is in for the challenge of all challenges as he an Erin perform the American Smoothy, most difficult for someone his size. Arlene remarked that she hoped it would not be ‘too ugly’. I think Peter will once again surprise as he did on Saturday, when he glided around the floor, his enormous size forgotten.

The Samba and American Smoothy are the two dances to be distributed amongst the competitors.

Watching the practices during the week, Brendan and Claire are the most surprising as they have taken this week very seriously after being one of the two bottom contestants last Saturday. They are beautiful to watch as they glide effortlessly through their routine, sheer pleasure. Judge Arlene said they were spectacular. Not to be missed tonight.

Mark and Karen were as stunning as ever, so get your video machines set as this is a performance you will want to watch over and over again, as in the past two weeks.

Louisa and Vincent are doing an extremely fast routine this week. Is this wise in the light of the judge’s critical remarks last week, that they were dancing too quickly for Louisa to complete her moves. Is Vincent pushing her too hard? Her costume is breathtaking.

Is energetic Lilia showing up her more passive partner Matt with her exuberance? Should she not slow down a little?

Watch out for Matthew and Carol, called the dark horses of the show, who were very impressive in practice this week

We are looking forward to seeing Ray and Camilla on the dance floor once again as they never disappoint us as they gracefully sweep the floor or explode into a more boisterous routine depending on the challenge of the week.

Emma and Darren showed us a snippet from their routine for the week and it was flawless and exciting. Looking forward to seeing the full dance.

The costumes for tonight are as stunning as ever, if not more so, be prepared for the best dancing enjoyed to date, in colourful costumes, challenging dancing and competition hotting up. Who will be going???
