Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon is reportedly planning to try and crack the American market.

Jim Beanz, who is currently working on Rihanna’s new album and is responsible for her Britney Spears’ infamous line “It’s Britney, b***h” from her hit ‘Gimme More’, told The Daily Star that Alesha could easily be the next Brit to hit it big stateside.

He said: “Alesha can crack the States, she is amazing.

“She sings, she dances, she’s got a great sense of humour – and she’s beautiful.

“We’re going to build some up-tempo dance songs to take the UK and the US by storm. It’ll be amazing.”

So what does this mean for Alesha’s Strictly future? Well insiders say that the singer WILL be back on the show later this month but added that bosses have told her to get tough with the contestants.

A BBC source told The Mirror: “Following the backlash, Alesha was on the back foot from day one.. perhaps she feared she’d be attacked even more if she spoke out.

“But she has vowed to come back tougher than ever. She has said she will pull no punches.

“It was that or bosses were prepared to look elsewhere.”

A friend said: “She is determined to be better than ever.”
