Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers are reportedly worried about losing their jobs after newspapers report a planned shake up to next years show.

Some of the regular dancers are said to be unsettled by the popularity of newcomers Brian Fortuna, Hayley Holt and Kristina Rihanoff, according to The Sun.

An insider said: “Everyone’s scared they’re for the high jump. It’s making things really unpleasant backstage. There’s a feeling the established stars were resting on their laurels.

“Brian and Hayley have brought a new sparkle – and no-one could have guessed how popular Kristina would be. No-one’s announced changes officially but dancers are only contracted per series. It’s a lot of pressure to be under.”
