William Hill have slashed the odds on Patsy palmer winning Strictly Come Dancing after a flurry of bets placed on her to win following her recent performance.

Hills saw a frantic hour of trading as punters rushed to back Patsy at any price, cutting her odds on four separate occasions. Despite this Zoë Ball remains their 6/5 favourite closely followed by Colin Jackson at 11/8.

“We have always felt that the 14/1 on offer for Patsy was to generous but until the weekend we had not been able to attract any money for her. At least it now looks like a three horse race.” said Hills spokesman Rupert Adams
