What Is RSS?
RSS is a new technology that allows you to keep up to date with new stuff on your favourite websites. You can use a program called a feed reader to manage your RSS subscriptions and to read new articles.
It’s all a bit like email, really.
How To Subscribe To An RSS Feed
Here’s how to subscribe to Unreality TV using an online feed reader called Bloglines:
- Sign up for a Bloglines account. Obviously.
- Click on the feeds tab on the left-hand side of the page and you’ll see an add link. Click this.
- You’ll see a subscribe page. Copy one of the RSS links from this page and paste it into the subscription box and click subscribe. In case the RSS link doesn’t work, type the address of the website into the box and try again.
- On the next page you have the option to place the feed in a folder or create a new one. Take a moment to review these settings and then click the Subscribe button at the bottom.
- That’s it, you’ve subscribed. Now check your Bloglines account every now and then for new articles and go ahead and subscribe to other sites while you’re at it!
