Last years Strictly Come Dancign winner, Alesha Dixon, will return to the show this Sunday night and show us what winners are made of!
The former Mis-Teeq singer won’t be dancing though, instead she will perform her new single, The Boy Does Nothing. The programme’s professional dancers will accompany her with a Paso Doble routine.
Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins is also singing on the results show with ballerina Darcey Bussell dancing in accompaniment.

Alesha Dixon has confirmed her first TV deal since winning Strictly Come Dancing – an authored film for BBC Three, due to be aired this spring.
Currently one of the nation’s hottest stars, Alesha will undertake a personal journey in the programme to explore what it means to be beautiful in Britain today.
Alesha’s interest in the subject has been fuelled by an apparent contradiction – she’s heard men talk about fancying all kinds of women, yet every time she goes to the supermarket, she comes across rows of lads’ magazines with covers all displaying the same air-brushed, identikit babes. Strictly Come Dancing winner, Alesha Dixon has claimed that the show saved her life. Alesha claims to have felt suicidal after losing her marriage and music career within weeks of each other.
Dixon told The Sun: “It was the lowest point of my life. I just kept thinking, ‘What have I done to deserve this?’ I didn’t see the point in living.”
She added: “Last Christmas was a real, real low point. Anyone who knows me knows that my music career and marriage were the most important things. And I lost them within two weeks of each other.” Read more & comment »
Alesha managed to overcome crippling panic attacks just hours before the show, and went on to perform five amazing dance numbers during the final on BBC One last night.
After the result was revealed, Alesha said:
“I can’t believe it. I feel like I’m going to wake up and it was just a dream.
“It was worth all the bruises, all the lack of sleep, all the painful cuts and sore joints, all the tears and all the 380 hours of training.
“I have spent more time with Matthew than with my family. I’m going to keep dancing – and with Matthew if that’s OK.” Read more & comment »

Former Mystique singer, Alesha Dixon is said to be planning to go head to head with the X Factor winner this Christmas. BBC are planning to release a version of the Strictly Come Dancing theme tune, titled ‘Let’s Go Dancing’, and Alesha Dixon who is currently competing on the show is said to be favourite to record it.
“We hope one of the show’s stars will sing it and propel it to the top,” Dan McGrath, who co-wrote the track with Josh Phillips, told the Sunday Mirror. “Strictly is winning the ratings war - now we’re going to pile on the agony.”
He added: “We’re expecting Simon Cowell to be crying into his Christmas turkey.”
Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood has revealed that he thinks former Mystique singer, Alesha Dixon should win this years show, however he is not hopeful about her chances.
n an interview with Reveal magazine, the show’s tough-talking panellist said: “Alesha’s my favourite and I think she should be the clear winner. She’s the sexiest by far and has the most talent.”
But Craig is worried as he thinks the public are voting for their favourite characters and not the best dancers. Read more & comment »
Friends of Strictly Come Dancing star, Matt Di’Angelo, have revealed that he is absolutely smitten by co-star Alesha Dixon.
A source told The People: “Matt and Alesha’s relationship is an open secret among the stars of the show. They seem really happy together - and the relationship seems to have spurred them on to perform brilliantly.
“Matt’s told a few people. But I don’t think either of them really wants the romance to become the talking point of the series.”
Strictly Come Dancing star, Alesha Dixon, has revealed that though she doesn’t mind appearing on TV scantily clad, she would rather the cameras didn’t focus on her legs and cellulite.
She told the Mirror: “I don’t mind getting my legs out but I’m still quite conscious of my cellulite.”
She added: “What makes me laugh is these magazines that put a circle around someone’s cellulite as if it’s alien to a woman.
“Of course I have cellulite and I’m not afraid to say it. I don’t have a complex because I know all my friends have it too.”
Another amazing performance from Alesha Dixon on Strictly Come Dancing this week….the boys really do have trouble on their hands. The girls this week beat them hands down again!
