As soon as the X factor bottom two acts were announced, it was obvious that Alisha would go.
Hope had a great night tonight, and both Simon and Louis have invested a lot in the girl group, they were never going to send them home.
It is a shame to see Alisha go, she was improving with each performance, I really liked her disco performance tonight.

Insiders have revealed that X Factor bosses have hired a qualified counsellor to help the remaining finalists through the stress of being on the show.
“Morale among the contestants has taken a big nosedive after last week’s surprise eviction,” a source told the Daily Star Sunday. “Everybody thought Futureproof were safe, so to see them go has really put the fear of God into the other finalists.
“A lot of them have been really struggling with the pressure and the fear is that they’re not strong enough to handle it. They now have a counsellor on hand 24/7.” Read more & comment »
Bad call judges! Three of the four X Factor judges voted to send Daniel DeBourg home tonight, and although Daniel had no chance of winning this show, he does have so much more potential than Alisha.
Alisha was in the bottom two last week also, her voice just doesn’t impress me. Daniel was given an awful song tonight, what twenty something male wants to sing Build Me Up Buttercup for goodness sake?
I don’t think Daniel appealed to anyone on a personal level, we didn’t see enough of his real self and after the story his ex sold to the tabloids he was never going to be loved by the public. Maybe Simon Cowell realised this when he used his casting vote to send Dan home. But this is a singing contest, it should not be based on personality.
I think the wrong decision was made tonight, but in the end it won’t make a big difference to the end result of the show. Neither Alisha or Daniel had any chance of winning.
Kimberley Southwick has become the first person to be booted off the X Factor 2007.
Ex Karaoke singer, Kimberley gave a VERY karaoke performance on tonight’s show, and to be honest it wasn’t much of a surprise that she has been the first person voted off.
I admired Sharon for refusing to choose one of her finalists to send home. She has admitted tonight that she was to blame for Kimberley and Alisha’s downfall, given that she chose rubbish songs for both!
But Sharon has also threatened to leave the whole show. If that was to happen, that would be the real travesty of tonight’s show!
