This week the princess hopefuls begin with a lesson from our experts, Jean Broke-Smith and Paul Burrell, on dating dos and don’ts. With the session fresh in the their minds the girls are paired off to meet three handsome, eligible bachelors who go by the names of Theo, Ben and The Lord of Muff. Accompanied by the boys, they then visit some of England’s most celebrated sights, including St.Paul’s Cathdral, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Brighton’s Royal Pavillion.
The girls receive more expert advice from British wine connoisseur Jilly Goolden in a wine appreciation lesson. At a picnic with the bachelors the following day the would-be princesses are forced to put their new found knowledge to the test, when they are asked to chose the wine. Read more & comment »

Start practising your curtsy and polishing those tiaras, as this January ITV2 begins a brand new search for an American Princess. This year the search has gone stateside as 12 women compete for their chance to earn a cash prize of $50, 000, as well as the much coveted regal title. American Princess is brand new and exclusive to ITV2, Tuesdays from 8 January at 8pm.
This year the competition will be presented by Yugoslavian royal and actress Catherine Oxenberg. Paul Burrell, former butler to the late Princess Diana and Jean Broke-Smith, one of the UK’s leading etiquette and grooming expert return as judges and each week they will invite a guest panellist to help them assess the wannabe princesses. Guest judges will include OK! magazine’s editor-in-chief Sarah Ivens, Access Hollywood co-host Tim Vincent and Royal Correspondent James Whitaker. Read more & comment »
