The Daily Star has claimed that Susan Boyle’s recent performance on America’s Got Talent was pre-recorded.

A source told the newspaper: “Given Susan’s history, no-one was taking any chances. It was a sensible precaution to get her songs in the can.

“It took the pressure off her and enabled her to relax and give her best in front of her biggest ever audience.”

Susan Boyle has admitted that she LOVED performing Wild Horses on America’s Got Talent.

The Britain’s Got Talent star wowed the audience and judges on the show this week and even got a standing ovation from the crowd.

Boyle told The Sun: “I was very excited about performing on America’s Got Talent. I was pretty nervous, but it was good nerves.

“Adrenaline helps you focus and concentrate on your performance. As I was singing it was such an incredible moment for me – talk about my dreams coming true!”

She added: “After everything in my life, I can’t believe I was standing on that stage in front of all those people. It was so lovely that people who had supported me were there. It was so touching.

“Words cannot describe how much it means to me. I got to meet the judges and Sharon Osbourne was so kind and lovely. She gave me some words of wisdom before I sang. It was lovely to see Piers Morgan again and meet David Hasselhoff too!”

Susan Boyle wowed the audience on last night’s America’s Got Talent.

The Britain’s Got Talent runner-up sang her new single ‘Wild Horses’ and received a standing ovation from the crowd.

The Daily Mail reports an audience member as saying: “People were crying and cheering her after her performance.”

In a pre-recorded interview, Boyle said: “I used to be a kind of spectator looking outward at the world. But now I’m part of that world and, though frightening, I’m going to embrace it.”

I had a watch of the video clip above and, though I have never been a huge Susan fan, I was 100% wowed by her performance. She brings emotion to her vocals, which I think people relate to and it moves them in ways that not many other artists can.

Susan Boyle is all set for her performance on America’s Got Talent this week and The News Of The World reports that she will be singing a cover of Rolling Stone’s track, ‘Wild Horses.’

Surprisingly the song will also be the first single from Boyle’s album ‘I Dreamed A Dream.’

“Her opening performance to promote her album will be in front of 20 million TV viewers, so the stakes could hardly be higher,” a source said.

“But her cover of ‘Wild Horses’ is sensational and people will be blown away. Simon Cowell is a very happy man right now.”

America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne, has backed new American Idol judge, Ellen DeGeneres.

“She will be a breath of fresh air on that show, a complete breath of fresh air,” the 56-year-old told People magazine. “It’s new blood. And [American Idol] needed something new to happen.

“I think if they had replaced Paula with another singer, Janet Jackson or J.Lo, it would have been too expected. Oh well, there we go, another singer. And with Ellen, you’ve got someone who knows about entertaining, and everything that goes into it, which also speaks for the people.”

Osbourne also supports Paula Abdul’s decision to leave the show. She said:

“I’m behind her. I think she put an awful lot into the show. She did do an awful lot for that show,” she added. “I would have probably done the same thing. I’m like, ‘Hey, what the men get, the women should get’.”

Susan Boyle is jetting off to America next week to make an appearance on America’s Got Talent.

Susan, who has never been to The States before, was fitted for a dress for her performance earlier this week according to people.com.

She will most likely take the opportunity to fit in a few talk shows and other performances during her trip. After all the real purpose is to promote her new album due out this autumn. The album ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ is already at the top of Amazon UK album charts on the basis of pre-orders alone.

Piers Morgan has admitted that he admires Mariah Carey and thinks that she has earned the right to behave like a diva.

Mariah recently kept the staff of America’s Got Talent up all night, as she perfected her three minute segment for the show.

He told the Daily Mail: “Mariah’s the wife of our new host, Nick Cannon, and it was not difficult to see why she is the most successful solo female recording artist in history.

“She’s such a perfectionist that we were all in the studio until nearly midnight as she planned her three-minute appearance, right down to the detail of lighting, sound and camera angles.

“And work with producers in the editing suite apparently continued to 6am until she was absolutely happy.”

He added: “Mariah has a reputation as a bit of a diva. But like most other divas in musical history – from Piaf to Whitney Houston, Diana Ross to Madonna – that’s primarily because she’ll do whatever it takes, however long it takes, to get things as good as they can be. Which is why she has sold 200 million albums.

“‘I don’t think anyone knows as much about what’s right for me as I do,’ she once said. A pretty good maxim to have in showbusiness.”

Simon Cowell has denied rumours that he will be joining the judging panel of America’s Got Talent.

Cowell told Access Hollywood: “No, no…It’s not quite as simple as that. I don’t know if I’d like to.

“I like being on American Idol – I’ve had a good time. I like producing America’s Got Talent and I am on the British version and another show on top of that [X Factor], so it’s quite nice to have variety really.”

Cowell went on to chat about the possibility of him leaving American Idol after this season saying: “My gut feeling is that I probably will do a new show…but you know, we haven’t fallen out.”

Former newspaper editor Piers Morgan has revealed that Sharon Osbourne once tried to strangle him.

The incident occurred when Osbourne found out that she would be joined on the America’s Got Talent panel by Morgan, and responded by throwing a fit and launching herself at him.

“Sharon Osbourne went mental when I met her. She started screaming at me in a restaurant in Hollywood, then tried to strangle me,” Morgan told Nuts magazine.

“She called me a talentless, Simon Cowell-wannabe idiot. I knew it was bad when Jerry Springer, who was with us, decided to lead her outside.”

He added: “We get on now. She’s kind of a lion – you have to fight her in order to win her respect.”
