An X Factor hopeful who was seen criticising Tulisa Contostavlos on Saturday night’s show, has claimed that she wishes she’d never auditioned for the judges.

Girlband Angel took to the stage in London’s O2 Arena earlier this year and performed Willow Smith ‘I Whip My Hair’ for Tulisa, Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh but got four nos after none of the panel enjoyed their rendition.

The N-Dubz star was particularly cutting with her comments, telling the trio that she was going to be ‘blunt’ and adding:

I think all the energy and all the dance moves is to cover up the fact none of you can really sing.

Vanessa then incurred Kelly Rowland’s wrath by hitting back, saying:

“That’s a bit rich coming from you!”

The Destinys Child star blasted:

“Coming from a female group that talks about how women should come together and how they shouldn’t be bitchy towards one another, I understand that you have an opinion, but at the same time, you came here for us to judge you and there was no reason for you to come back at her like that!”

Speaking to The Daily Star last weekend, Vanessa revealed that after the show aired, she has been taunted in the street and teased by friends and neighbours about her outburst, and confessed that she regrets ever getting involved in The X Factor.

After confessing that Angel have now broken up, she added:

“It was edited to make me look a right cow. I’m not a rude person, just a straight-talking Yorkshire lass. I’m shocked at how it came over and the way Tulisa took my comment to heart.”

“The way X Factor keeps showing that clip has ruined my life. I can’t step out of the house without someone shouting after me: ‘That’s rich.’ I’ve even had the neighbours knocking on my door about it.”

Kelly Rowland was seen leaping to the defence of her fellow X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos on tonight’s episode.

The Destinys Child star was horrified when the lead singer of girl band Angel criticised her co-star and insinuated that she wasn’t much of a singer, after she offered her opinion on their audition piece.

The three piece vocal harmony group sang Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair Back and Forth for Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Kelly, but it left a lot to be desired. The girls couldn’t sing in time, or in tune and the whole thing was a disaster.

Contostavlos admitted that she hadn’t loved the performance and said that the dance moves, the stage routine and the energy were just there to cover up the fact that ‘none of you can really sing.’

The hopefuls didn’t take the critique well and afterwards lead singer Vanessa hit back:

“That’s a bit rich coming from you!”

Kelly was outraged at her cheek and reprimanded the wannabe, blasting:

“Coming from a female group that always talks about how women should come together and they shouldn’t be bitchy towards one another…. I understand that you have an opinion but at the same time, you came here for us to judge you and there was no reason for you to come back like that.’

Speaking about Vanessa’s bandmates she added:

“I can tell that these two don’t appreciate the fact that you did that, because what if you just messed up their chances for an opportunity, they are the group!”

Four nos later and the girls had shot themselves in the foot and ruined their chance at winning a place in bootcamp.

Angel will be seen causing controversy on tonight’s X Factor episode.

The girl group try to impress the judges with their rendition of Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair Back and Forth, but when Tulisa Contostavlos admits that she didn’t love the performance, they hit out, implying that she has no singing talent.

After their audition, the N-Dubz singer said:

Ok girls, I’m just going to put it as blunt as possible to you, I think all the energy and all the dance moves is to cover up the fact none of you can really sing.

Vanessa from Angel hit back saying:

Umm, it’s a bit rich coming from you but…

Kelly Rowland then chimed in to defend her fellow judge, ranting:

“Can I just say one thing, coming from a female group that always talks about how women should come together and they shouldn’t be bitchy towards one another, I understand that you have an opinion, but at the same time, you came here for us to judge you and there was no reason for you to come back at her like that, and I can tell that these two don’t appreciate the fact that you did that, because what if you just messed up their chances for an opportunity, they are the group!”

After they failed to win a place in bootcamp, Vanessa just couldn’t keep quiet about her hatred of Tulisa and went on to blast:

Unhappy times. I think that was her being bitchy, I was just doing the same back its just one of those things, that’s how I am, but I was about ready to punch her in the face if I’m perfectly honest.

Angel was evicted last night and Halfwit gets to live another day, or week even. The Russian housemate received a whopping 81% of the public vote, and quite a few of those could well have been made by me!

Her spitting/dribbling thing was the final straw for me. What made you want to vote her out, if you did?

It was a tad cringe making to see her doing that weird mime thing again as she left to a cacophony of boos and then trying to defend herself during the interview with Davina over nicking Siavash’s photo. Yet again she said she did it for her ‘art’. What a load. Since when did ‘art’ mean you couldn’t ask if you could have stuff?

Anyway, before Davina announced who was to be booted out, she was already being weird. Hopped up on nerves as the housemates waited, she couldn’t sit still; she pretended to swim, picked up and put down a glass repeatedly for no apparent reason, pulled her teddy out of her hat and held it up to the cameras, but through all that, she barely uttered two words.

She gave Charlie her skipping rope and, just to be sure he understood what it was, as she placed the precious artefact de Angel in his hands, she said, “Skipping rope.” Phew, glad she cleared that up.

Next to receive a gift from Russia With Love was Noirin to whom Angel handed a sparkly ring…

“This is for you from the most romantic city in the world” Angel said, leaving a puzzled Noirin to ask, “Why does she think she’s going?”

Then it was Sree’s turn, but he told Angel she wasn’t going anywhere so she shouldn’t hand out her stuff. However, ignoring him completely, Angel rooted around for a suitable gift and held out a bracelet.

“Can I give you this?” she said, proffering the jewellery to Sree, who, with a characteristic lack of tact looked it over and said, “What else have you got?”

Angel has told Halfwit that she hopes she’s going to leave the house tonight.

“I’ve made myself ready to go. I’ve had enough” she told him.

Halfwit seemed uncomfortable with the conversation and struggled to find something appropriate to say but eventually came up with, “Either way, you’re an entertainer. Whatever happens, you inspire people.

“Look at it like this – when you leave here, it’s like being born again…”

But Angel wasn’t going to be consoled that easily and went for a metaphor to explain her lack of enthusiasm about being booted out.

“I’ve been born too many times” she said, and repeated, “Whatever happens, happens. I’ve had enough.”

Overnight Noirin has lost her temper, possibly for the first time in the house. After dinner last night, Noirin asked Angel to wash the dishes and said that she was asking because Angel has only “dried up once.”

This led to a row during which the house seemed divided in opinion about the issue. Many commented that as it was potentially Angel’s last night, she shouldn’t have been subjected to a row while the other half agreed that Angel was lazy and contributed little to the running of the house.

Rodrigo went immediately to Angel’s defence but then found himself on the receiving end of Noirin’s increasingly sharp tongue as she yelled, “”I’m sick of cleaning! I’m sick of cooking!”

Angel told Noirin, “I know you want me out of the house, you started this conversation to make me look bad”

Marcus took Noirin outside so that she could calm down and told her that she needs to curb her temper or risk being kicked out of the house. However she told Marcus and Siavash, “I don’t see why people take advantage of things. It’s not fair. She’s been here for three weeks and only shared the drying up once.”

In the house, Kris said that Noirin’s complaint was “bad timing” but added that he too had been annoyed with Angel because of her laziness, adding, “But it’s an opinion that could have been left alone for one night.”

However, Marcus offered his opinion as to why Noirin’s being so testy; he told her, “You probably need a good seeing to as well.” Noirin denied that her temper was as a result of sexual frustration and informed him that she’d had sex a month ago and added, “I just don’t get sexually frustrated.”

The poe faced Russian has been working on some additions to her eviction outfit all night last night and all day today. She’s been methodically cutting up and sewing bits of old cans onto a black jacket but when Charlie did his water chucking, the precious jacket got wet. Cue tears and about six million grovelling apologies from Charlie…

However, despite Angel repeatedly saying “it’s alright, it’s alright, please don’t touch it” Charlie kept trying to help her gather up her bits of tin and sewing stuff for her decamp to the much drier bedroom.

A shame faced Charlie also got a telling off from Halfwit who irately said, “What the hell man?” as he watched his sort-of-would-be lover gather up her very odd, and seemingly not waterproof, creation.

Angel’s weirdness seems to be becoming ever more apparent and last night, she told Marcus that she thinks Lisa hates her because she’s gay.

She said, “I knew people would hate me” to which he responded, “It’s not that people hate you. I know Lisa looks for an argument with you.”

“It’s because she’s gay. I’m gay. She thinks she’s the best gay in the house and the only one. I know this from beginning…”

Marcus then tried to reassure Angel that this wasn’t true and that conflicts can happen for no reason.

“You can’t change people but you might be able to make it more friendly” he told her but she responded that she couldn’t be “false” and couldn’t “just smile to my enemies.”

Yikes… I wouldn’t turn my back on her in her present state of mind, would you?

In true gentlemanly form, he chose to free Noirin of the marker-pen grind and she’s now sans drawn on facial features. She was of course delighted and Freddie was rewarded with cheers and appreciative slaps on the back from the other housemates. In addition, they all received carrot cake, music, booze and no less than 9 tokens.

However, it seems that it all got a bit grossly erotic soon after…

Angel and Halfwit apparently ‘dirty danced’ and kissed passionately while the others looked on, horrified…

“It’s his birthday!” Angel exclaimed after seeing the housemates reaction.

Yeah but aren’t you meant to get something nice on your birthday??
