Bruce Forsyth has admitted that he would like to see Ant and Dec replace him on Strictly Come Dancing.
The stars currently front Britain’s Got Talent on ITV but the octogenarian would like to see them jump ship and change channels if he ever does decide to step down from the BBC show.
The veteran star refused to confirm whether or not he would be at the Strictly helm with Tess Daly once more, when the show returns this autumn, however if he decides to step down he knows just the men to take his place. He told The Mirror he’d like to see Anton Du Beke in his place, or the BGT duo. Brucie said:

DJ Sexy Scott gets the audience going when he auditions for Britain’s Got Talent this evening and Ant and Dec get involved in the action too.
The 29 year entertainer and fitness instructor from London shows off his Funkacise routine to his own version of Nicki Minaj’s Starships. Ant and Dec are quick to join Scott Whitley on stage as he throws some shapes.

The Britain’s Got Talent team have released a new unseen video featuring some hilarious scenes which were cut from Saturday night’s show.
Although there were some moments that made us chuckle on the third episode of the series, we really wish we’d been treated to the sight of David Walliams and Amanda Holden line-dancing, while Simon Cowell looked grumpily on.

Ant and Dec have revealed that if they were to compete in a reality TV show, it would have to be Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV duo host Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity and of course their own entertainment series Saturday Night Takeaway and before their BGT return this Saturday night, they revealed that out of all the rival series’, they would most like to take part in BBC’s dance show.

In this series of Britain’s Got More Talent, Ant and Dec will be put through their paces by Stephen Mulhern each week in Ant and Dec’s: Fairground Fantasy! and will be seen going head to head on various funfair games. This week, as the show returns to ITV2, the TV duo compete on the challenge ‘Milk the Cow’, seeing who can squeeze the most milk from the ‘cow’s udders’.

Just when you were worried because you hadn’t seen One Direction on a prime time TV show for a few days, the band have rectified the issue.
We grew used to seeing the group on Let’s Dance For Comic Relief every Saturday night for a month, as videos of their visit to Africa were used to encourage fans to donate to the British charity and last Friday they took pride of place on the live Red Nose Day Show.

On tonight’s Chatty Man – which is of course hosted by Alan Carr on Channel 4 at 10pm – Geordie presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly tie the knot (sort of) to celebrate their 20 years together!
And as if Ant and Dec’s wedding wasn’t glamorous enough with Alan overseeing proceedings, X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother star Rylan Clark is also on hand acting as a ring bearer for the auspicious occasion.

It’s been reported today that for the first time ever, ITV are more eager to sign hosting duo Ant and Dec up to a new contract than they are to secure the services of X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent mogul, Simon Cowell!
And that is apparently because the viewing figures for the Geordie lads’ show Saturday Night Takeaway have boosted ITV’s weekend ratings enormously with around 8 million of us tuning in.
The Daily Mail reports, “As ITV bosses prepare for negotiations with their three top stars, they face an awkward new reality — securing a fresh deal with Ant and Dec is now more important to ITV than an agreement with Simon Cowell.” Read more & comment »
