Dougie Poynter and Antony Cotton were tasked by I’m A Celebrity bosses to hide all their fellow campmates towels last night, as part of a secret challenge. On tonight’s show, the camp awoke to find that their towels were missing, but none of them suspected their pals.

Fatima Whitbread and Willie Carson were the first to realise that something was amiss.

“All the towels have disappeared overnight, we have no towels in the place” said a confused Willie.

Dougie sneaked into the Bush Telegraph, “I left them like that (on Bush Telegraph roof) so they would see, dumb asses!”

Jessica-Jane Clement had been sleeping on one towel so the camp-mates used this to wash down at the creek.

Talk then turned to SAS Gorillas coming into camp and taking them whilst they slept. “They’re trained to be very quiet those SAS people” speculated Willie.

“I think they’re all thick as a brick” said Antony quietly.

Emily soon discovered the towels and Antony and Dougie sneaked down to the Bush Telegraph to gloat at the success of their secret mission, “Meanwhile little old me and Dougie got away with it”, they both laughed

New acts of treason were set for I’m A Celebrity campmates Dougie Poynter and Antony Cotton tonight, to win packages from loved ones for the celebrities. The pair was told they had to hide their fellow camp mate’s towels and dirty the freshly washed laundry and ask washer woman Chrissy to wash it again, but Antony at first refused.

He insisted:

“I’m not doing it, I can’t be assed. They will know it is us and then we’ll have lost. Are some people just brought into this show to wear bikinis and nothing else and some people to be constantly running around and doing shit? I’m slightly peeved, I’m pissed off it’s taking away all conversation and it’s boring.”

“How on earth can we take all the towels and no-one see it. You can’t do it. I’ve worked my arse off in here for 17 days and I’m not having fun. I’m not in the mood. It’s futile. I’m having one of those days. The stocks have put me in a bad mood, it was deeply offensive and I will not cut my conscience to fit this year’s fashion. It was grotesque.”

Sat beside Antony in the Bush Telegraph, McFly star Dougie said:

“Awkward! My accomplice is not best pleased but I will accept the task and we will do it and help each other. 0069 is on it!”

Having been allocated the role of woodman by Prince Willie earlier in the day, Antony got bored and annoyed and said: “I don’t want to be here, it’s utterly boring, I’m hating it, I’ve enjoyed the experience up till now but this is a nightmare.”

Having been brooding all day on Dougie being put in the stocks and facing the challenge of hiding the towels, Antony wandered off camp into the jungle to get some space away from the others and clear his head. In the Bush Telegraph he was upset when he said: “I can’t achieve this challenge and Mark was hoping for a message from his mum. I didn’t like seeing Dougie in the stocks and I had to have a bit of a moment.”

Returning to the camp Antony told the others: “I had a bit of a panic attack and needed to clear my head.” Mark then asked him to give him a cuddle and Dougie did the same.

As the campmates were asleep, Dougie and Antony set about their ‘traitor tasks’. Antony started collecting clothes to dirty them and Dougie started collecting his fellow campmates towels to throw on the Bush Telegraph roof.

Dougie slipped a few times on slippery rocks in the jungle darkness and also has to return to the Bush Telegraph as some of the towels have fallen off the roof.

Once complete, they both returned to camp. Dougie said it was going to be hard to get the towels off the Bush Telegraph roof in the morning; Antony smiled and said “We did it”.

We thought Antony Cotton would be a great I’m A Celebrity campmate, but he’s turned out to actually be a real moan.

On tonight’s episode of the ITV show, the Coronation Street star got into yet another row, this time with Fatima Whitbread.

The former Olympic champion told the camp actor that she was getting fed up with his constant swearing, a statement which he took great exception to.

She ranted:

“No swearing please! It is quite offensive for people to listen to all the time! It can be funny but as a lady I don’t want to listen to it all the time.”

“I just find it hard to swallow all the time, I’m just asking you to not keep swearing.”

Antony replied:

“What? Every day there is something else Fatima.”

“Mind your own business!”

Things calmed momentarily, while Fatima cooked breakfast for the camp mates but soon Antony was off again and screwed up his nose and said the food was “revolting”. He added:

“Everyone’s being nice about the food because she’s given me a boll***ing but it’s revolting!”

Later in the Bush Telegraph he said: “She doesn’t like me swearing and this is from someone with the personality of a frying pan!”

Too many cooks can spoil the broth and on tonight’s I’m A Celebrity, Antony Cotton became so flustered with camp mate’s interference while cooking the Balmain bugs for dinner tonight that he stormed off and left the others to it.

It started when Fatima and Emily started to advise him on cooking the bugs . “Do what you want. Everyone just jibbing in – do what you will with it. I had sorted everything out and now we’ve got wax you can’t put a pan on and twigs that are going to flame.”

With that the Coronation Street star went to his bed and ignored pleas to come back and help them.

Fatima said: “He was getting upset because there was no heat coming out of the fire so we solved that problem now he’s upset about something else. It’s just unnecessary.”

Antony was sulking in his bed and said to Jessica-Jane: “somebody knows better than me so they will just go and do it. I’d worked it all out and I obviously have no idea what I’m talking about. I just need to sit this out. Ask Mrs Clever Clogs over there and she’ll tell you what to do. It’s really irritating having someone watching over you when you are trying to do something.”

Mark told Antony to get up but the soap actor said: “It’s inappropriate she’s like a petulant child, she just can’t leave it alone. Every night she watches me cook and I told her and she argued with me so I walked away it’s really unattractive thing to do, it’s jealousy because she’s not doing it, so let her do it. It’s rude to jib in and argue with someone and now I look like the petulant child but I’ve given in.”

Evening all! I’m A Celebrity is upon us, and so is Tedward-gate round two! Tedward is Lorraine Chase’s luxury item which she brought into the jungle – a small teddy which Lorraine loves with all her heart! Pat confesses to Jessica-Jane and the rest of the blue team that he was acting up yesterday in order to be voted in for the next trial. “He’s a complete knob” Antony states in the bush telegraph. I’m inclined to agree.

Pat heads off to Head Trip’. Not a drugs binge, but his bush tucker trial. “I hope it goes tits up for him”, says Crissy. It seems Pat isn’t winning any of his fellow camp mates over with his sudden switch of attitude.

Pat has ten minutes to work his way through a course using just his head. Baby crocs, mealworms and lizards were in separate boxes alongside the stars Pat had to collect. Each star of course meant one meal for camp. Unfortunately, he does extremely well and gets eleven out of the twelve stars.

Everybody in camp seemed thrilled to hear the news, except Crissy who stayed in bed. Good on her for sticking to her views.

Moving onto day three of the jungle game show with Harold Bishop, we have Crissy and Emily representing team blue! Pat doesn’t think Crissy can hold it together, and he has no problem in telling Emily about his views right in front of Crissy! This angers her immediately. “I don’t like condescending people”, she says.

Sinitta and Fatima are the representatives of team orange, and were both taken away whilst team blue took to the stage.

“Crissy was just, channel vision”, explains Mark. I think he means tunnel vision. He’s a sweetie.

The challenge itself was a little confusing to me. One of the team mates had to scoop bugs into another’s tray, and at the end of the challenge, each would be weighed. The heaviest tray takes home the glory, and the orange team receive their first win here!

This all makes Fatima very emotional, she burst into tears at the sheer joy that her team won, and she was one of the ones to take home the gold medal!

Blue team move into the Sin Bin – their new home for the night. Crissy doesn’t seem to enjoy her current company, and it’s sad that she can’t show her full potential whilst with a group of people she doesn’t necessarily like to be around. This could all possibly stem from the fact she was chosen last at the beginning of this game show challenge, or maybe her thoughts on how Pat treated Lorraine the day before. In any case, I hope Crissy perks up again soon so she can show her happy, kind natured side.

Mark did his best to cheer Crissy up, but she claimed to be alright before he even came over to chat. I don’t believe her.

Antony’s cooking once again now he’s back in the main camp. He’s really upset due to the lack of ingredients for preparing tonight’s meal, and this in turn brings Fatima’s mood down. This spirals a tad out of control, and all hell breaks loose once more. I love these arguments over food. It goes to show how emotional people can get when lacking refreshments!

Pat Sharp is chosen by the last viewer’s vote for who faces the bush tucker trial, ‘Bushman’s Bungalow’. All twelve of the celebrities will face a huge challenge in a sleepover “they’ll never forget”!

It’s a wonderful Saturday night! I’ve enjoyed a Chinese takeaway, I’ve got a cider in hand and I am so ready to get down with our jungle crew!

OH MY GOD A TOAD! Quick Princess Sinitta, give it a kiss! Or scream in its face to wake up the entire camp, your choice. Antony’s bitching once again, unleashing a tirade of anger towards Willie Carson, and who can blame him? The man’s ultimately patronising without even realising it.

He gets to take a break from camp life however, unfortunately for him with a bush tucker trial – ‘Crude Awakening’. I really can’t work out Antony. At times I despise him; at others I think he’s brilliant. One thing this trial proved is that he provides excellent entertainment for sure.

He started by ushering rats aside (“my darlings”) to climb inside a giant tube in order to collect twelve stars, or as many as he could possibly find. Spider webs, toads and cockroaches awaited him. Fair play to the guy, he did a great job hunting for the stars, and took home eight meals.

Willie Carson wins the award for the most unsubtle sneaky campmate this year. His actions, along with those of some of the other celebs mean that all contraband must be handed in, or stars will be deducted from Antony’s winnings! The stars go a little OTT, handing in kettles, mirrors and eyeliners as well as the salt, pepper and chilli wraps that I –think- producers were talking about.

The bicycle shower adds an element of perversion that is actually acceptable by UK standards. Pat creeps me out to no end here. He almost forces himself upon the two younger girls, new addition Emily and in from the start Jessica-Jane. After being refused, he comes down to watch from the bushes… -shudders-

A jungle game show is brought into camp, along with everybody’s favourite morning television host – Phillip Schofield! He poses questions to each camp member who, if answering correctly would be sent off to the jungle pub! Poor little Mark was the only person to incorrectly answer his question, and so was left on his own in camp whilst everybody else went to get bevvied! If I were there, I would quite happily stay behind with him and do some miles on the bicycle whilst watching him shower to pass the time… ANYHOW…

Antony’s winnings meant the camp got mullets and pilchards with a side of tension, once again due to the cooking. On their full stomachs they headed to the pub for karaoke, performing such classics as ‘So Macho’ by ‘biggest pop star’ Sinitta, and ‘Especially For You’.

Time to find out who will face next trial; ‘Hellivator’. Sinitta is chosen which annoys me as she probably won’t even try to do it… Tomorrow we get a live bush tucker trial; ‘Horrods’! It looks fantastic, so please do not vote Sinitta! I want to see the trial actually get done!

Antony Cotton was last night the latest star to be voted by the public to undertake I’m A Celebrity Crude Awakenings ’s Bushtucker Trial.

The Coronation Street star had to descend into a warren of tight tunnels, through a manhole cover and of course encountered a number of jungle critters in his quest to claim stars for camp.

He finished with eight stars which meant eight meals for camp that night.

His ordeal started as he scrambled into the hole, encountering rats at its entrance. Soon cockroaches were raining down on him shortly followed by mealworms. He fell headfirst into a tank of slime before Ant and Dec advised him that there may well be stars on the floor of the tank beneath the sludgy depths. Sure enough, there were. Next Antony had to crawl though spiders and their webs before climbing though another hole where crickets landed on him. He talked to himself in an attempt to block out what was happening to him.

Next up, he had to crawl into a pitch dark hole which contained cane toads. He was soon joined by cockroaches and kept sliding around unable to get a grip on the metal floor.

Finding himself at the end of series of tunnels, the camp star had to hoist himself up and out with a rope. But there was one last surprise for Antony as he fell down a long water shoot into the Trials lake, where he landed spluttering. As he fell, he dropped and lost one of his stars and when the trial ended, the determined actor asked Ant and Dec of he could return to the tunnels to find more stars.

“I actually quite liked that. I know I’m a weirdo,”” he said.

Sinitta made her presence very much felt in the I’m A Celebrity jungle camp yesterday, waking all of her fellow celebrities up with a blood chilling scream before the sun had even rose.

The X Factor star yelled, because she thought there was an insect on her face, however Crissy Rock wasn’t so sure. She later said:

““I think it’s been one of the most difficult night’s sleep we’’ve had”. Sinitta screamed because she thought something had jumped on her but I think it was a leaf.””

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton was the next one up but he badly needed the loo and finding it wasn’t going to be easy.– No one had lit a tilly lamp and he couldn’t see a thing, never mind find the toilet. He later explained:

““So I woke up. I had no idea what the time was and I needed the loo and the first thing I did was look where the tilly lamp was and it was pitch black. So I reached for a candle but the moment I put it up to my face, it completely blinded everything else.”

Cotton got quite upset and angry and added:

“It was the first night I’’d not been the last to bed and every night I’ve gone round, lit tilly lamps to put by the fire. The only night I’ve gone to bed early, there was no tilly lamp lit and it just got on my nerves.”

““It’s like 11 other people moving into your front room and then you say ‘why’’ve you put that there? I just have, that’s the way I’ve done that!”

The incident spilled into the morning as Willie Carson then told Antony how a tilly lamp worked. “

The camp star errupted again, blasting:

“OK, we’ve been here over a week. I understand how to light a tilly lamp. It was pitch black. There was nothing lit”!”

Snake Rock and Croc Creek were told that they would merge and become one big camp on last night’s I’m A Celebrity episode and none of the stars looked too happy about the news.

The inhabitants of Snake Rock had to pack up their belongings and join those Croc Creek and former’s campmates were nervous about starting again in a new home, having bonded as a ‘family’.

Jessica–Jane Clement confessed that she was ‘half nervous and half excited’, while McFly star Dougie Poynter said he was looking forward to seeing new people again.

Meanwhile in Croc Creek, talk was also of the impending change. TOWIE star Mark Wright told Corrie’s Antony Cotton that it might be the last time they went to the shower together and also confided that he would give Stefanie his bed if necessary. Antony wasn’t quite so generous minded, he blasted:

“She’d drop you like a hot brick. It’s show business not show friends!”

After the joining of the camps, the members of what was Snake Rock said they felt like invaders in the new camp. Hollywood actress Stefanie Powers confessed:

“We’ve just come into Croc Creek and seeing our old mates. Here will be more games afoot and more tricks. We’re not going to be in beds, we’re going to be in hammocks.”

Even Dougie found it awkward, adding: “We really feel like we’re in someone else’s home.”

Things got even more awkward when Antony and Willie Carson had words about how to boil a kettle and later Antony – never one to hide his feelings – said:

“It’s going to be a lot more crowded. They’ve already started on our fire. They’re just zoned in on our fire and started to change it and I’m not happy!”

On tonight’s I’m A Celebrity launch show, the contestants were lulled into a false sense of security, as they met for the first time at a $6million mansion on Australia’s stunning Gold Coast. Bathed in brilliant sunshine, the beautiful villa was the perfect setting as this year’s batch of celebrities swapped their glamorous lives for a more meagre jungle existence.

Arriving at the villa in bright red Ferraris, each celebrity described their fears and trepidation at appearing on this year’s show.

First to arrive was Coronation Street star Antony Cotton. He’’d previously said:

““I’ll be a mixture of camp and irritable. Irritably camp!”

Next to arrive at the villa was Hart To Hart actress Stefanie Powers. The two were quickly joined by The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright who had previously confessed:

““I’m a bit of a scardy cat. I’m scared of the dark, and rats – I can’t feel one, smell one or be in the same room as one.””

Ex Emmerdale actress Lorraine Chase was next and then Real Hustle star Jessica-Jane Clements who said:

““I’’m looking forward to the Bushtucker Trials. The kangaroo testicle will be funny. I’ve had worst stuff in my mouth.”

”Then the group was joined by McFly bassist Dougie Poynter who had an interesting way of dealing with jungle life. He said:

““I’ve been watching a lot of Bear Grylls. He gets naked a lot. So I think I might have to do that a lot.””

Joining them was sporting hero Fatima Whitbread who said:

““I’’m a tough nut to crack. I am a good shoulder to cry on but if anyone needs a good kick up the rear I can do that as well.”

” And then Benidorm star Crissy Rock arrived, curtseying to Stefanie Powers. She said:

““When I’m in the jungle I’m not going to miss my luxury items. I’’ve never had any!”,” she said.

Finally racing legend Willie Carson arrived, laughing:“

“I’’m like a Jack Russell dog. Small and noisy and I’ve got a nip. Possibly I’’ll anger people because I’m honest. And I always like winning.”

Hosts, Ant & Dec arrived on a speedboat as the celebrities enjoyed their last proper meal and explained that they would now be travelling by two helicopters and embarking on their jungle journey.

Soon after, all nine celebrities were dropped in the jungle and found a map directing them to a clearing and a cave. Inside the cave were nine groundsheets laid out on the floor. However the thought of a night in the dark in a smelly cave seemed to frighten the intrepid bunch and they decided to camp outside instead with Stefanie and Fatima building beds for everyone.
