Antony Hansen has become the next Joseph wannabe to leave BBC’s Any Dream Will Do. He was the obvious choice after his tuneless performance of Take That’s Patience earlier in the night.
He faced the sing off with Cabaret Craig, but Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber felt that Craig was the safer choice for the West End.
Antony performed Close Every Door to me as he left the show and I wish he could have conveyed that level of emotion during his earlier performance, if he had he definitely wouldn’t have left tonight.

Finalist of the TV show, Any Dream Will Do, Antony Hansen has been speaking to his local newspaper about how he has found the Joseph experience so far.
Speaking to The Oxford Mail, Antony said: “I didn’t realise the programme was going out to so many people on Saturday night.
“I was quite nervous, because I changed my song half way through the week to Aerosmith’s I Don’t Miss a Thing, so I only had two days to practise.
“It was all right on the night though - I was really pleased with my performance.” Read more & comment »

Antony Hansen, 17
A student from Abington, near Oxford.
Antony is the youngest of the 12 and lives with his parents and three brothers in Abington, near Oxford.
He studies Performing Arts Theatre Studies and Music Technology at college, and although he has no formal acting training has been involved in amateur dramatics since he was a child.
In the past he has worked both in telesales and as a garage attendant and feels that he would make a “young, fresh-faced” Joseph.
He auditioned in London and describes the experience of being on the show as “like a dream.”
