The Daily Star today reports that Big Brother housemate Becky Hannon told the show’s producers in a Diary Room chat that she wants to leave over the Luke A debacle in which he said, “She respects me about as much as she respects her BMI.”
We saw exactly what happened in last night’s highlights show which focused on the friends and family of housemates nominating for them this week. It was in the course of them doing so that Becky’s sister dropped the BMI ‘bombshell’ as the reason why she was nominating Luke A.
Becky of course reacted as Becky does; loudly and OTT, using the word “disgusting” about six hundred times, refusing to give Luke A a chance to explain why he’d said it, and to apologise.
And of course, she yet again pulled the “I’m a 19 year old girl, he’s 31” card, which became old the last few times she used it, and it’s downright tedious now… Read more & comment »

As Big Brother fans will know, yesterday, the housemates’ friends and family did their nominating for them, and the aftermath of one revelation in particular has prompted a tidal wave of unpleasantness to once again strike the house…
That incident was when Becky’s sister nominated Luke A – and Deana – and as to why she was nominating Luke A, she explained that it’s because she’d seen on Channel 5’s BB highlights show a conversation between Luke A and Adam in which Luke said, “She says she respects me, but she respects me about as much as she respects her BMI.”
Luke A immediately apologised for the remark, but after telling him he was “disgusting”, Becky then refused to speak another word to him.
Then in the bathroom while speaking to Scott, she added, “I think it’s flat out disgusting.”
Now, the fact of the matter is, Becky has often – and loudly – claimed that she’s proud of her ‘big’ frame, and often added that she has no desire to diet or change her physical appearance, going the route of Big Is Beautiful… Read more & comment »

Big Brother announced the most recent nominations this evening and in true reality TV style, things well and truly kicked off!
As we reported earlier this evening, Ashleigh, Luke A, Deana and Becky all received the most votes from the friends and family of the housemates, who shockingly were allowed to control nominations this week.
The housemates were permitted to watch their loved ones choose who they wanted to see evicted and things got heated when Becky’s sister nominated Luke A, saying that she was furious with him for criticising her sibling’s weight.

That’s right peeps! Following the housemates’ friends and family nominations, Ashleigh, Luke A, Deana and Becky face eviction on Friday!
Who do you want to see go? And remember, there’s loads of things happening this week, including the launch of The White Room task tomorrow (Tuesday) then a special edition of Big Brother on Wednesday night, which focuses on how the new task is affecting everyone.
After that, there’s a live Bit on the Side from the Big Brother garden on Friday – and of course prior to that, a double eviction on Friday!
We’ll be back with a full update on all the reaction in the house soon.

Last night saw the eviction of Caroline Wharram after a nomination twist which resulted in eight contestants being put up for eviction on last night’s Big Brother live show.
The only two housemates who didn’t need to pack their bags were Becky Hannon and Scott Mason, the remaining eight they all sat patiently waiting for Brian Dowling’s announcement, but not many people were particularly surprised when Caroline’s name was called.

For me, Big Brother housemates Caroline Wharram and Becky Hannon are among the top ten of the most dislikable housemates ever, but as far as Caroline’s concerned, after last night’s highlights show, I’m beginning to think she may actually have some kind of disorder.
The incident that made me wonder whether she may have an undiagnosed disorder, such as ADD/ADHD, was her bursting into tears when she dropped a bottle of shampoo – that she was throwing into the air – onto her face, giving her a small bruise under her eye.
Now bear in mind that Caroline is 20 years old, her crying over hurting herself isn’t the first time she’s shown characteristics more suitable to a 12 year old… Read more & comment »

As we reported yesterday evening, eight of the remaining ten Big Brother housemates are facing eviction this week since BB changed the rules and decided that every housemate who received a nomination would be facing eviction.
Which equates to everyone being up except Scott and Becky.
Unreality readers have of course been calling for BB to change the rules about nominations for weeks in order to give viewers a chance to oust the housemates many see as ‘baddies’ such as Caroline, Conor and Becky.
However, as the voting system is a vote to save, unless fans are prepared to vote several times this week, then there’s absolutely no guarantee that any of the housemates who’ve caused fans such upset will be out on Friday… Read more & comment »

Yesterday, Day 47, saw not only the Selfless Deeds task but also Becky and Luke A calling a tentative truce on their previous row, while Ashleigh rowed with Luke S over his meat…
No you filthy beast, not that meat, but rather the meat he chose to use to make a chilli con carne. Luke S used steak, but Ashleigh – who’s a self-confessed cook-a-phobe – wanted mince.
Which of course is a subject that’s caused relationships to break up for decades; that old mince or steak debacle is a deal breaker.
However, unsurprisingly, Luke S was not pleased with Ashleigh’s response to the meal he’d made, prompting Conor to tell Ashleigh, “You were being ungrateful. You told him to cook mince for you instead. You were acting like a spoilt brat…” Read more & comment »

As we reported earlier, last night, Luke A proved he’s most definitely more man than mouse by standing up to bully Becky Hannon, who told him, “Don’t you dare call me fake!”
But dare he did, and rightly so, however this morning, Becky predictably played the age card – as she tends to do when she can’t win an argument with an older person in the house, but being 19 doesn’t, in my eyes, excuse her appalling behaviour – and whined that a 31 year old man shouldn’t speak to a 19 year old in the manner that Luke A did.
Funny isn’t it how Becky’s age is never an issue when she wants to gob off at someone? I don’t recall her telling Deana as the pair worked on this week’s shopping task, “Oh sorry Deana, I need to stop calling you ‘slow’ and accusing you of being thick, because I’m only 19…”
However, back to the issue at hand, and after their row last night, Becky’s evidently still smarting from being outwitted on every front, and brought down a peg or three, by Luke A, and she told Caroline… Read more & comment »

Last night, Lauren of course became the seventh housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house during this series…
Which of course meant that Luke A was saved by the public vote, and that knowledge has transformed him from being a ‘The Meek Will Inherit The Earth, If That’s OK With The Rest Of You’ character into an Anti-Bully Warrior.
And his first target as the all new ABW superhero alter ego was bitchy Becky Hannon, who tried – and failed spectacularly – to intimidate Luke A back into his corner.
But, as per Baby in Dirty Dancing, in full on self righteous “Nobody puts Baby in a corner” mode, Luke A let rip at her, and she of course turned on the water works.
It all began when a jubilant Luke A told fellow smokers Adam and Sara that from now on, he’s not putting up with crap from anybody. And to Sara, he said, “You know Becky’s fake right?” Read more & comment »
