Check out the all new Big Brother eye for 2008!
It’s a shattered eye, mostly in black with a touch of red on the right. What might it represent? I have never been a fan of modern art so I have no idea, but if any of you do please drop me a line!
The show returns for an all new summer series on June the 5th, and despite recent rumours WILL have Davina McCall as host of the live shows. Continue reading ‘Big Brother 2008: Check Out The New Eye Logo!!!‘ »

Presenters George Lamb and Zezi Ifore have been announced as the new hosts of Big Brother’s Little Brother. It’s now a case of “little brother and little sister” with the duo set to take the reigns of the ultimate BB fan show this summer.
As well as being super-fans of the show, George and Zezi are already part of the C4/E4 family, both presenting on E4 Music and daily morning music and entertainment show Freshly Squeezed. On joining the Big Brother spin-off, the pair said:

George: ”Imagine how excited someone would be if they were presenting Big Brother, well I’m just a little bit less excited than that but I’m still extremely excited.”
Zezi said: “This is preposterously good, I’ve always loved Big Brother – it’s omnipresent, you can’t help but get sucked in! And working alongside a lovely lamb too - George Lamb - ain’t half bad either. Bring it on!” Continue reading ‘George Lamb and Zezi Ifore Are The NEW BBLB Presenters.‘ »

We all thought Jade Goddy was weird! But could Big Brother bosses about to make things even more strange in the BB house and welcome creatures from another planet?
The Daily Star has reported that neighbours of the show’s studios in London have claimed they have seen flying saucers overhead, and last night a BB spokesman said: “If aliens land in the Big Brother house we would welcome these visitors.”
A source added: “They’ve had some pretty odd creatures on the show in the past, such as Jade, Jonty and Nadia. Aliens would certainly not look out of place.” Continue reading ‘Big Brother 2008: Aliens In The House?‘ »
The Big Brother housemates due to enter their prison next month, will be glad to know that the BB bosses have decided to make the house 1/3rd bigger.
The house was shrunk last year in a bid to start more rows and arguments, however bosses have decided to bring the house back to its original size.
A show insider told The Sun: “It was a bit cramped and wound everyone up a bit too much.”

Much as many of you may have hoped it would be cancelled, it looks pretty definite now that Big Brother 9 is almost up and running.
The show is due to launch early next month and Virgin have announced today that they will once again sponsor the show.
James Kydd, managing director of marketing and brand for Virgin Media said: “We’re really pleased to be aligned with the show again. Continue reading ‘Virgin Mobile To Sponsor Big Brother 9‘ »

Big Brother bosses are reported to have hired private detectives to vet new housemates and uncover any skeletons they may have in their closets.
London based Page Assosciates Detective Agency, is hoped to thoroughly check each housemate before they enter the house, and therefore lessen the chance of Channel 4 being hit by yet another BB scandal.
A source told The Daily Star: “Despite our candidates having police checks, not everything shows up.
“There just might be things that these wannabes have chosen not to tell us, like sordid sex scandals, being a former member of a race-hate gang, working as a hooker or having members of their family with serious criminal convictions. Continue reading ‘Big Brother 2008: Detectives In The House!‘ »

The Star, which can always be trusted for its reliable sources (?) has reported that there will be a whopping 16 housemates entering the Big Brother house this year.
They report that the housemates will be some of the rowdiest we have ever seen and that the security staff have been warned to be on the lookout for bustups.
A show source said: “Get ready for Big Big Brother. With so many people waiting to burst through those doors at Elstree TV Studios, it’ll be like the January sales at Next! Continue reading ‘Big Brother 2008: 16 New Housemates!!‘ »

Big Brother bosses have started the gossip wheels turning early this year as they prepare for the shows kick off this June. Whilst getting the BB house refurbished they have asked to have a small child sized bed installed, sparking rumours that they will be allowing a contestant to bring in their son or daughter.
A builder working on the refurb told the Daily Star: “We were decorating the bedroom when we got word of a surprise delivery. A lorry pulled up and out came this small bed.
“We thought someone was pulling an April’s Fool joke on us. But it was there as clear as day. We had to take it into the Big Brother store room where we keep props and furniture.
“It’s got us all wondering what on Earth is going on. Either a kid is going in the house or maybe one of the contestants Continue reading ‘Big Brother 2008: Will There Be Kids?‘ »

Big Brother bosses are detrmined to make this summer’s series a smash by sexing things up between the housemates.
The BB house is currently being gutted at the Elstree studios and a brand spanking new house will greet the chosen few this May.
One of the big changes being made to the house is in the secret upstairs loft that was used to hold the housemates under interrogation in the celebrity version, this January. The room is being completely refurbished and turned into a ‘love nest’, for those couples that just want to be alone!
A source told The Daily Star: “It’s the ideal snug for lovebirds to sneak off to.
“We can either open it up when the show starts or wait until we see who gets together in the house and give it them as a reward.”

British bookies are so convinced that Channel 4 are about to cancel Big Brother, that they have slashed the odds on this summer’s 2008 series being the last.
The latest BB spinoff, Celebrity Hijack ended last night with an average of only 600,000 watching the series, 10% of the viewers who watched the final two years ago.
Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg told The Daily star: “Celebrity Hijack has hardly captured the imagination of punters.” Continue reading ‘Is Big Brother Over?‘ »
